OFF TOPIC but when possible I prefer to own games off-Steam or off-any-DRM-platform when possible, and GOG is great, but also it's really irritating that a lot of devs neglect and ignore the versions of their games on non-Steam platforms, eg leaving the version on GOG or Desura unpatched and broken (the GOG version of Luftrausers is unbeatable because it still has a bug that was patched days after release on Steam, and the Desura version of Cloning Clyde never got patched past 1.0, so it is impossible to save in it). The developers wrote on Kickstarter "We are also discussing the release on GOG, so it is quite possible that in a few weeks Dex will also be available through GOG.", so I'm mildly optimistic. In my opinion GOG has all the advantages of Steam without its disadvantages. I own Cloning Clyde on the 360 which I understand is now backwards compatible. Also a good chance that some of the bugs are fixed until then. Might be a good choice for other people who value DRM-free software.
